CCS Baseball Falls In the Bottom Of The 11th

The Charger baseball team dropped a heart breaking 2-1 region semifinal game at Upperman Monday night in the bottom of the 11th inning. 

CCS scored their lone run in the first inning on a John Rhodes RBI.  

Upperman scored in the bottom of the seventh inning to send the game to extra innings.  

Upperman was able to load the bases with no outs in the bottom of the 11th inning before scoring the game winner.  

Brandon Mason pitched nine innings allowing four hits and striking out eight batters.  

Justin Wheeler, Brandon Mason, John Rhodes and Amos Corbett each had one hit.  Matthew Mercer had two hits.  

Upperman advances to the region championship to be played on Wednesday.
