A pregnant Hixson woman said her female neighbor threw her into a TV, punched her in the head several times, then threw her into a picture window.

Tori Coleman, 21, is charged with assault, vandalism and aggravated burglary.

The victim said in the incident on Nov. 3, Ms. Coleman knocked on her door to speak to her roommate, who was not home. She said she told Ms. Coleman she was babysitting and did not have time to talk.

She said when she tried to close the door that Ms. Coleman pushed her way in and began the alleged attack.

The TV was knocked over and the picture window shattered during the incident.

The victim, who was eight months pregnant, said after she was knocked to the floor that Ms. Coleman repeatedly kicked her in the left side. She said she did not fight back because of being pregnant and "fearing that Coleman would only fight harder."

Her child and another child she was babysitting were near the attack, but were not physically injured, it was stated.

Ms. Coleman told police she was disrespected and said her neighbor should not "talk crazy" to her the next time.

Police said when they arrived the living room was in shambles, with furniture overturned and glass on the floor from the window breaking.

EMS said the victim had superficial wounds to her head.
