Gilliam, Judy Carol Noel (Cleveland)

Judy Carol Noel Gilliam, 67, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Thursday evening, May 19, 2016.

Judy was a math teacher in Bradley County for 43 years, and during her time teaching she was the sponsor for the Beta club. She served as an active member of Mount Olive Ministry. She was a member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society. She was also a member of Red Hat society. Her hobbies included gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family.

She was preceeded in death by her father, Walter Lace Noel; and her sister, Gayle Finley.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Wallace Gilliam, Jr.; her two children, Noel (DeAnna) Gilliam and Shawn (Emily) Gilliam; four grandchildren; her mother, Alice Noel; and several nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, May 22 at 3 p.m. at Mount Olive Ministries. The family will have a gathering of friends from 2-3 p.m. prior to the service.
