A groundbreaking for the Miracle Field and Playground at Warner Park will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m.

"The Groundbreaking signifies the start of construction on a sports field and playground specially designed so that children with physical challenges and mobility issues can play America’s favorite pastime - baseball - and includes an accessible playground that boasts the first accessible merry-go-round in the state of Tennessee. Chattanooga’s Miracle Field will be the first Miracle Field in Tennessee," officials said.

The groundbreaking will be held on the site of the proposed field which is directly in front of the Chattanooga Zoo and the Warner Park Pool.  Parking is available at either the Holtzclaw or McCallie Avenue entrances. The public is invited to attend.
