McEwen, Ann Standifer (South Pittsburg)

Ann Standifer McEwen, 84, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, died on Monday, May 23, 2016, in a Chattanooga Hospice Center.

The daughter of the late Hugh and Martha Walker Standifer, she was a longtime member of Kimball Baptist Church where she worked for many years in the nursery.  She retired from TVA, having worked there for 38 years. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Martha Jean and Guy Walker.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Don McEwen of South Pittsburg; niece, Melody (Jerry) Duncan of Dunedin, Florida, great-niece, Heather Arthur, and her children, Noland and Benjamin, all of Franklin, Tn.; nephew, Hugh Otis Walker of Dunedin, Fl.; sister-in-law, Ellie McEwen; niece, Donna Ann Reed and nephew, Jimmy Reed, all of East Ridge.

Funeral services will be conducted at Kimball Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Central time on Thursday, May 26, with Reverend Troy Luttrell officiating.  Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, May 25, from 4-7 p.m. Central time at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
