Chattanooga State Offers Class On Caring For The Elderly

The Chattanooga State Economic and Community Education Department is offering an important class on Tuesday, June 7, from 6-8 p.m. that addresses the task of caring for elderly parents. Registration fee is $49.

In the upcoming class, “Aging Parents: Mom-Dad, we need to talk,” participants will understand  and appreciate crucial conversations that must take place to provide care for elderly parents.

Discover what the risks are for aging parents and learn about essential decisions that must be made. Topics address long-term care coverage, required legal documents such as wills, power of attorney, Medicare coverage, and estate planning.
