Mayor Brent Lambert Releases 1st Fish At New Bass Pro Shop Outpost, Which Opens July 14; To Hire 150-160

Mayor Brent Lambert of East Ridge was given the honor of releasing the first fish into the massive aquarium of the new, soon-to-open Bass Pro Shop Outpost just off Exit 1 on I-75. The fish, a four-pound large mouth bass, was caught in Chickamauga Lake.
 
General Manager Jarron Ritchie announced that the store would hold a special event at 6 p.m. on July 13 with 50 percent of sales proceeds going to conservation.
The 85,00-square-foot store's official opening will be July 14 at 8 a.m.

Mr. Ritchie also announced that store would provide jobs to 150-160 individuals and most have already been hired. Also according to the general manager, the lobby is unique and completely different to all other Bass Pro Shops.
