"Tri" Three Ironman Inspired Micro Adventures!

Instead of the traditional swim, bike, run symbolic of the Ironman, how about creating your own triathlon with a paddle, bike, hike? These 3 Ironman inspired activities can be done in a day at Harrison Bay State Park, just a 30 minute drive from downtown Chattanooga.

Harrison Bay State Park is a 1,200-acre park, with approximately 40 miles of Chickamauga Lake shoreline, and was originally developed as a Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) recreation demonstration area in the 1930's. The bay gets it names from the now partially submerged town of Harrison, Tennessee. The park offers hiking and biking trails, boat ramps, tent and RV camping sights, a swimming pool, picnic areas and a golf course.

Don't have your own equipment to enjoy a paddle,  bike with the whole family? No worries, Rusty's Kayaks can provide everything from kayaks, SUP's, PFD's and paddles for the paddle portion of your adventure and Ready Camp Full Service Outfitters can provide mountain bikes, helmets and even camping gear for the land adventures. Click on the links to start planning your local, Triathlon inspired adventure!
