Friday:
Armed Forces Day Parade: Beginning at 8:30 a.m., Market Street from 12th Street to MLK Boulevard will be closed. The parade will start at 10:30 a.m. and at that time Market Street from MLK Boulevard to 4th Street will be closed. Roads should be re-opened by noon.
Nightfall: Nightfall will take place from 5:30-11:59 p.m. Market Street from 10th Street to 8th Street will be closed and MLK Boulevard from Broad Street to Georgia Avenue will be closed.
Bessie Smith w/Nighfall: Friday from 5-11:59 p.m., MLK Boulevard from Georgia Avenue to Houston Street will be closed. This is in addition to the normal Nightfall closure. Georgia Avenue and Lindsay Street intersections will remain open with CPD officers to help cross pedestrians. Watch for pedestrians in the area.
Saturday:
3 State 3 Mountain: Saturday the 3 State 3 Mountain bike race will take place from 6:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Cyclists will be led out of town using Riverfront Parkway and Market Street Bridge. Additional closures include a lane closure on Cummings Highway from Broad Street to Browns Ferry Road. Watch for cyclists on the road.
Race to Read: Saturday from 7:30-10 a.m., Race to Read walk/run will take place. The right EB lane on E. 3rd Street will be closed. Participants will continue on the Riverwalk. Watch for participants at Battery Place intersection and CPD officers on site.
Choo Choo Jubilee: Saturday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., the Chattanooga Choo Choo Jubilee parade will take place. A rolling closure will take place for the parade to leave Passenger Street onto Main Street, right onto Market Street and end at the Choo Choo. Watch for participants in the area.
Sunday:
Chattanooga Market: Sunday from 6 a.m.-8 p.m. Reggie White Boulevard will be closed from the entrance to the skate park to 19th Street.
Tuesday:
Police Memorial: from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m., the Police Memorial will take place. Market Street from 8th Street to 5th Street will be closed. Detours will be posted.
