The football practice field for Sale Creek Middle/High, located behind North Hamilton County Elementary School, is now being graded to prepare it for sod. The leveling should take about two weeks and then the field will be ready for sod. Mr. Davidson will be asking for volunteers to help with laying the sod so, keep an eye on the Sale Creek Middle/High sign for dates and times when help will be needed.
The Sale Creek community will now be able to watch their home games at home instead of at Findley Stadium. I hope that businesses and members of the community will rally around the football program with support to help buy bleachers. I can hardly wait to see the finished project.
Commissioner Fred Skillern and I discussed this project with Mayor Coppinger for some time and I am so glad to see it finally be a reality. A big thank you to Commissioner Skillern, Mayor Coppinger, Mr. Davidson, Hamilton County government and taxpayers.
