Pearlie Reese
Pearlie M. Reese, 74, of Chattanooga, died on Friday, June 24, 2016 in a local hospital.
She attended Booker T. Washington High School. She was a beautician by trade. She was a faithful member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church where she sang in the choir until her health failed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Berniece Ballard, Sr.; and husband, Robert Reese.
Survivors include her sons, Willie E. Ballard and DeHoward Ballard; grandchildren, Jeremy Ballard and Shirika Ballard; brother, Henry Ballard, Jr.; sistes, Christine Dobbins and Cathy Thomas; sister-in-law, Frances Reese, all of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
She will lie in state on Monday, June 27, after 12:30 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, June 28, at noon at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Eddie Jacks as the eulogist.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
