Gwendolyn Jenkins
Gwendolyn Elaine Jenkins, 67, of Chattanooga, died on Friday, June 17, 2016, at her residence.
Gwendolyn was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was a member of the Mountain View Congregation, in Chattanooga. For 52 years, her zeal and unwavering faithfulness was the foundation of her life. She was beloved by many friends and family. Her bright smile and vivacious spirit will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eric Jenkins, Sr.; her parents, Horace and Geraldine Rachell; her sister, Janice Rachell; her brothers, Peter, Johnny, Horace, and Gerald Rachell.
She is survived by her children, Eric G. (Monica) Jenkins Jr., Elayna R. Jenkins, step-daughter, Erica Nowells and sister, Pamela Adamson.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 2, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home, with Ronald Brown presiding.
