Morning Pointe Senior Living residents made a stampede to area Chik-fil-A restaurants to celebrate 'Cow Appreciation Day' on July 12.

The seniors -- in cow costumes -- had a blast preparing for the event, dressing up in cow print, cow ears and hats. The residents received free menu items, as well as lots of compliments and attention, for participating in the annual event.

In 2013, residents at Morning Pointe of Hixson (TN) won 'Best Herd' in the whole country in the national Chik-fil-A Cow Costume Contest.

Chik-fil-A treated the group to an all-expense paid trip to the company's headquarters in Atlanta.
