Young, George B. (Jasper)
George B. Young, 88, of Jasper, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2016.
He retired from Hormel and Lowes Produce Company and was a veteran of the U S Air Force.
Mr. Young was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Peoples Young; parents, John Sherman and Mary Abbott Young; and a sister, Kathleen Cash.
He is survived by his son, James Young and George “Skip” (Linda) Young, Jr.; daughters, Carol Young Roberts, Carolyn Young (Bob) Pratt, Debbie McGraigle, Ann Dillon, Lylia (Frank) Frame, Wanda (Kenneth) Frame, and Shelby (Carl)Taylor; brother, John F. (Tennie)Young; sister, Ann (Paul Daily; grandchildren, Kari Roberts, David Lindsey Roberts, Khristopher Frame, Kenny Frame ,Melanie Raulston, Lisa Olinger and Kristen Lee; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. CDT, Wednesday, July 27, with Bro. Ronnie Case officiating. Interment will follow in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. CDT, Tuesday, July 26 at the Tate Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
