Eunice Payne
Eunice L. Payne, 84, of Hixson, died on Wednesday, July 27, 2016.
Eunice was born in Birchwood, Tn., and was a longtime resident of the Chattanooga area. She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence “Bud” Payne; son, Michael Payne; and a grandson, Jeremiah Jones.
Eunice is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Janet and James Jones; four grandchildren, Katrina, Michelle, Wally and Joanna; several great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. on Friday, July 29, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Eunice will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at the North Chapel. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
