Governor Haslam Speaks At Chamber’s Annual Meeting

Governor Bill Haslam keynotes the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Meeting Wednesday, Aug. 24 at the Chattanooga Convention Center from 11:30 a.m. -1 p.m.

“Gov. Haslam plans to share news about all the good things that are happening across our state, coupled with the good things happening here locally,” said Bill Kilbride, Chamber president and CEO. “The legislative agenda has been full of important issues and it’s a great time to hear his perspective.”

Governor Haslam will speak about the state’s progress in economic development, creating jobs, higher education, including Tennessee Promise, and other initiatives.

In addition to Governor Haslam’s keynote, the Chamber’s Annual Meeting highlights Chamber accomplishments and the first annual Mayors’ Award for the Arts will be presented. 

In conjunction with the Chattanooga Airport, the Chamber will draw an Annual Meeting attendee to receive nonstop roundtrip airfare for two to New York City.
