Regions Bank will be closing 60 branches by the end of the year, according to a transcript of a conference call published on Seeking Alpha.
The bank plans to continue the closings - consolidating between 100 and 150 branches through 2018.
A number of other banks are closing branches as a trend continues toward online banking.
