DEO Clinic To Sponsor Diabetes Academy In Dalton

“The more persons with diabetes can learn about how the disease affects them, the more they can control their overall health”, said Linda White RN, a medical volunteer at the DEO Clinic, adding, “That's why the DEO Clinic is offering a Diabetes Academy.” The academy will feature guest speaker Sheila Jennings RN, a diabetes educator with Novo Nordisk.

The DEO Clinic in conjunction with Christ the King Lutheran Church will be offering a free “Diabetes Academy” on Tuesday, Aug.

23 at 5:30 p.m. The educational seminar will focus on managing diabetes through healthy eating habits, exercise, and medications. There is no charge for the seminar. Seating is limited, please call 706-581-2009 or email deoclinic@yahoo.com to reserve your seat.
