Tivoli Theater Will Have Broadway Series

  • Thursday, August 18, 2016

The Tivoli Theater announced its inaugural Broadway at the Tivoli complete season lineup as part of the ongoing revitalization of the theater’s cultural and musical offerings.

“This all-new Broadway experience represents a fresh chapter of what we have to offer at the Tivoli. With something for everyone, from childhood favorites to modern classics, we look forward to extending a welcome invitation to all of Chattanooga and beyond in enjoying the upcoming live shows,” says Tivoli Foundation Board Chairman Keith Sanford. “It's an exciting new addition to our already vibrant cultural and arts scene here in Chattanooga.”

Subscription packages for the series go on sale Monday at 10 a.m. That evening from 5:30-7:30 p.m., "enjoy a Broadway Open House at the Tivoli Theatre where you’ll have the chance to pick your own seats and purchase your 2016-2017 Broadway season subscription. Enjoy complimentary champagne and light snacks in addition to select musical numbers from the upcoming season."

Officials said, "Two packages options are available with either four or all five shows. As long as you renew your yearly subscription, the seats are yours to keep year to year. Additional subscription benefits include reduced ticket prices compared to single ticket purchases, first notification of next year’s season, free same-show ticket exchanges, and opportunity to purchase additional tickets before they go on sale to the general public. Once subscriptions go on sale this Monday, you may purchase yours at the Open House event, by calling the Tivoli box office at 423-757-5580, or by visiting the box office in person at 709 Broad Street, Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m."
