Lester "Butch" Earl Roberson, 75, of Chattanooga, died on August 26, 2016.

He was a retired truck driver after 38 years of service and was a member of the Ware Branch Church of Christ in Harrison.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Marie Roberson and his first wife, Elizabeth (Liz) Hodge Roberson.

He is survived by his sons, Doyle and Joel (Brenda) Westbrook; his loving wife of 15 years, Barbara Leamon Roberson; five step-children, Joe (Sherry) Leamon, Sparky (Marcia) Leamon, Rheda (Clark) Akins, Donna (David) Mashburn and Cyndi Collins; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several brothers and sisters.

Services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 1, at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Ministers Doug Ferguson and Raleigh Wooten officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Aug. 31, from 3-8 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Road.
