Mary Bernadette Kimball, 22, of Gallatin, a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, died unexpectedly of natural causes at her home on September 10, 2016.

Mary was born at the Monroe Maternity Center in Madisonville, Tn., the daughter of Tom and Marie Kimball. She was a graduate of Pope John Paul II High School and attended Asbury University and Vol State Community College. She planned to begin nursing school later in the month. Mary served as a volunteer supervisor for Catholic Mission groups this summer in Texas, Oklahoma, New Orleans, Belize and Harlan, Kentucky. She previously spent a year as an intern for Stand Ture, a pro-life organization in Ohio. Through her efforts, many children were saved from abortion. She loved children and was a wonderful nanny and baby sitter for many families. She stated in her diary her purpose in life was to return to her heavenly home.

Survivors include her parents, Tom and Marie Kimball, of Gallatin, her sister and brother-in-law, Monica and Brandon Baker, of Chattanooga, her three brothers, David of Seattle, WA, John of Castalian Springs, TN, and Joe of Gallatin and dozens of cousins, her loving aunts and uncles, Francene Kimball and Camille and Bill Daffron, Jim Yuhr and Paula and Walt Lincoln.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 16, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Gallatin with Father Steven Gideon as celebrant and Father Vic Subb, Glenmary priest in Lafayette as concelebrant. Burial will follow at Gallatin Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Thursday, Sept. 15, from 4-8 p.m. at Family Heritage Funeral Home with the Rosary at 3:30 p.m.
