  • Friday, September 2, 2016

A student in Marion County has been expelled after taking pictures of a female teacher's "private parts" with his cellphone on Wednesday, said school officials.  The teacher was reportedly not wearing underwear when the pictures were taken.

The student, who has not been identified, is a senior and a minor.

Marion County Director of Schools Mark Griffin said the student shared the picture with two other students.

Mr. Griffin said the teacher is still working and is not facing disciplinary action.

A disciplinary hearing is set to be held on Tuesday.

The Marion County Sheriff's Department is investigating the incident.
