Johnnie Lou Cargill, 77, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Wednesday September 21, 2016 at a local hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Johnnie was born March 10, 1939 in Cleveland, TN to the late Sam and Georgia Lyles Clements; and was also preceded in death by her loving husband Marvin Elvin Cargill, a daughter Rebecca Barnes; and a brother Billy Clements.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Katherine and Terry Storey of Dalton and Sally and James Garcia of Herman, TN; a son Ricky Cargill of Dalton, GA; a sister and brother-in-law, Brenda Farmer and Dennis Roberts; grandchildren, Erica Barnes, BJ and Rachel Barnes, KC and Blake Cargill, Maranda, Tanner and Aaron Storey and Andy and Patricia Garcia; four great-grandchildren; and special brother-in-law, Dick Stresing.
Graveside Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Johnnie Lou Cargill will be held Saturday, Sept. 24 at 11 a.m. at Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery in Cleveland, TN with Brother George Cross officiating.
Arrangements are by locally owned and operated Ponders Melrose Chapel.
