Sale Creek Wins Regular Season Championship

Sale Creek's Lady Panthers captured the District 6-A regular-season champion with a 6-0 district record and 34-5 overall mark after Thursday's 3-0 victory over Lookout Valley.  Sale Creek won 25-14, 25-17, 25-12.

Ariana Smith had 17 kills and 20 digs.  Abby Burton had 13 kills.  Bailey Nelson and Tayla Willis had 24 assists and 17 assists respectively.   Morgan Weatherford had 30 digs. 

Lookout Valley finishes the regular season with an 11-18 overal record and 5-1 in the district, earning a second seed going into the district tournament.

Soddy Daisy  beat McMinn County 3-0. Scores were 25-14, 25-23, 25-15. 

The Lady Trojans are now 18-26 overall and 5-7 in District 5-3A.

Kyleigh Ward had eight assists and Kirstie Williams had nine assists.  Cameren Swafford and Gracie Ratledge had six kills each.
