Gwendolyn Louise Christopher, 69, of Summerville, Georgia, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2016 at her residence.
Mrs. Christopher was born in Gaylesville, AL on Feb. 20, 1947, to the late Joe Daniels and Eleanor Dixon Stamper. She attended the AC Carter High School and held an Associate’s Degree. She was a member of the West Fifth Street Church of Christ, and prior to retirement she had been employed with Mt. Vernon Mills, Mohawk, the City of Summerville and as a clerk with the Town of Trion.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Christopher was preceded in death by a sister, Jacqueline Adams; step-father, Gilford Stamper; brothers-in-law, Harold Evans and Jerry Daniels; sister-in-law, Rozell Daniels; cousin, Connie Smith; and a nephew, Walter Harold Evans.
Mrs. Christopher is survived by her husband, Freddie Christopher; sons and daughter-in-law, Fitz and Tammy Christopher and Kevin Christopher; daughter, Missy Christopher; sisters and brother-in-law, Peggy Renee Evans and Charlotte and Johnny Allen; sisters-in-law, Suzie Daniels, Brenda Smith and Sara Joyce Daniels; brothers-in-law, Lonnie Christopher, Shirley Daniels, and Nathan Adams; grandchildren, Brittany Christopher, Lorenzo Foster, Tomecko Thompson and Immanni Christopher; great-grandchildren, Zorran Christopher and CJ Thompson; god-daughter, Daphne Smith; special niece and nephews, Natasha Adams, Bryant Adams and Garrick Evans; special friends, Patty Hill, Jan Day, Barbara Madden, Barbara McCutchins and Waymon Blansit; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
