Arlo Guthrie, the Dismembered Tennesseans and Priscilla and Little Rickee will be the featured performers at “Remembering the Past, Celebrating the Future,” an upscale event honoring Fletcher Bright and benefiting WTCI on Saturday, Sept. 24.  The evening of "fine dining and fabulous entertainment" is being hosted by the DeFoor Brothers and will introduce Chattanooga to the newly-revitalized intersection of Chestnut Street and 8th Street.  The evening will showcase the upcoming dining and retail establishments and will feature the redesigned and repurposed Pioneer Building alleyway.

Todd Womack will serve as master of ceremonies for the program during which long-time WTCI/PBS philanthropist, Mr. Fletcher Bright will be honored. Other speakers will include guests Cherie Martinez, Don Shula, and more.

The event will feature a seated fine dining experience including bar/beverage, entertainment, door prizes and raffle prizes for a $250 purchase price.  For an additional $1,500, a VIP pass holder will have a 1 in 125 chance to win a 2016 convertible Porsche 911 Cabriolet, a 1972 Miami Dolphins Don Shula Autographed Helmet, Rolex watches, MacBooks, and more courtesy of event hosts, the DeFoor Brothers, and sponsors Porsche of Chattanooga and Rone Regency Jewelers.

The DeFoor Brothers, Byron and Ken, have been involved in Chattanooga real estate development for many years and have a passion for what they do, reflected in the detail in their projects. Their current Chattanooga hotel, the Embassy Suites Chattanooga, Hamilton Place, was chosen as the 2014 Hotel of the Year by the Embassy Suites Hotels from among more than 200 hotels throughout the United States, Canada and Latin America. The Westin hotel is under construction in the famous Chattanooga gold building and slated to open in 2017.

Tickets and tables for this gala event can be purchased at http://www.defoorbrothers.com/ and proceeds benefit WTCI, the Tennessee Valley’s community PBS station. WTCI serves 1.4 million people across the Tennessee Valley, proving over 60 hours of educational programming each week.
