SCWN 13th Annual Praise Breakfast To Be Held April 13

Scenic City Women’s Network (SCWN) celebrates its 13th Annual Praise Breakfast, that celebrates God’s blessings throughout the year. This year’s event open to men and women, features “Coffee with Miss Clara” portrayed by Karen Abercrombie, of the Kendrick Brothers movie, “War Room.”  Karen is an award winning actress, Parents' Choice Award winning storyteller, singer-songwriter and motivational speaker. She recently received the Movie Guide Grace Award, for her performance in the hit movie, War Room. Karen played the spicy, 80 year old prayer warrior, Miss Clara in the film.

The Praise Breakfast also honors an outstanding woman of faith in our community with the prestigious Lydia Award. This year’s recipient is Julie Baumgardner of “First Things First.”
