Held Long Career With CHI Memorial Hospital

Edie Lemons Robinson, 48, of Hixson, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 1, 2017.

Edie was born and raised in the Chattanooga area and was a 1986 graduate of Soddy Daisy High School.  She was employed with CHI Memorial Hospital for over 26 years.  Edie was a member of Daisy Church of God.  She was an avid softball player.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Erwin Lemons and a sister, Charlene Lemons.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 23 years, Frank Robinson, Jr.; son, Ethan Robinson; mother, Anna Mae Lemons; brother, Jeff Lemons and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Private graveside services will be held for the family only with Pastor Jake E. Carroll officiating.  

The family would like to express their appreciation to Margaret Shirley, and Catherine Holland for the love and care given to Edie during her illness.

Memorial contributions may be made in Edie’s name to Hearth Hospice, 1800 Rossville Ave., Suite 7, Chattanooga, TN 37408 or to the American Heart Association, 519 East, 4th Ave., Chattanooga, TN 37403.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
