Ruby Campbell
Ruby Eblen Campbell age 85 of Rossville, Georgia, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 19, 2017.
She was born Thursday, Sept. 24, 1931, in Wildwood, Ga., to Luther and Sallie May. Ruby was a lifelong member of the area and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Campbell retired from M&J Grocery Stores as a meat wrapper; she was a devoted mother, grandmother and housewife, she enjoyed dancing and entertaining her family and friends” If you left her house hungry it was your own fault”.
Ruby was preceded in death by her husbands, Everett”Ebb” Eblen and Manuel Royce Campbell; and parents, Luther and Sallie May.
Survivors include her son, Jeff (Judy Ladd) Eblen of Lakesite, TN, stepson, E.L.(Janet) Eblen of Fort Walton Beach, FL.; sisters, Juanita Thompson France of Richlands, NC, and Shirley (Cliff) Prater Wood of Apison; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be on Sunday, Jan. 22, at 1 p.m. in the chapel burial will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be on Saturday, from 4-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
