The History of Bradley Central High School Wrestling DVD goes on sale this Thursday, at 6:00 p.m. at Bradley High School during the Walker Valley vs. Bradley Wrestling match. The 57-minute documentary explores the reasons behind the success of the Bradley Central program from its humble beginning in 1973 through the current years. A special program that evening will recognize former Bradley wrestlers.

Ben Smith, BCHS head wrestling coach, said, “We are excited about the release of this documentary highlighting and saving the history of the program.
We would like to thank the many people who supplied videos, photos and stories for the project. A special thanks to Sherri Vincent and Debbie Moore for the thousands of photos they have taken for the team for nearly two decades.”

Alan Morris, the first wrestler to step on the mat representing the Bradley Central Wrestling program in 1973 and current Walker Valley head coach is interviewed. Former head coaches Jerry Frazier, Turner Jackson, Steve Logsdon, and Chad Laxton share their coaching memories.  Current Bradley High head wrestling coach, Ben Smith and current University of Tennessee at Chattanooga head coach, Heath Eslinger, discuss moving thru the Bradley Wrestling program and then becoming coaches.

The documentary includes dozens of wrestling movie clips including Steve Logsdon's 1984 State Championship win—Bradley’s first individual state champion.  Photos of all 44 State Championship winners, numerous team photos and action shots are included.  The documentary will bring back memories of the Bradley High Wrestling program from 1973 until today.
