Ben "Bill" Silvers, Jr., 73, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Chatsworth Healthcare Center.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Silvers; parents, William & Beulah Slivers; brothers, John, Jay and Mack Silvers.
He is a member of Cedar Valley Church of God.
He is survived by a daughter & son-in-law, Tammy & Barry Pangle of Dalton; son & daughter-in-law, Terry & Debbie Silvers of Dalton; sisters & a brother-in-law, Lucille & Hershel Elrod, Geraldine Wilson, Patsy Duckett and Dorothy Banister, all of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Holly Hambright, Brittany Muchleisen, Brandon, Heather, Ali and India Silvers and Brandon Pangle; great-grandchildren, Rileigh, Westin, Carson, Haley and Shiloh.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 10, at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Woodson and Rev. David Pangle officiating. Burial will be in United Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, January 9 from 5-9 p.m. The family would like to offer special thanks to Chatsworth Healthcare Center.
