Tristan Emilio Roman, 20, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at Fort Lewis in Tacoma, Washington.  

He was a lifelong resident of Cleveland and a member of St. Thérèse of Lisieux Catholic Church.  He loved the outdoors and was a member of the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers; Evaristo Roman, Sr. and Jack Burley.

He is survived by his father, Evaristo Roman, Jr. and wife, Carolina Roman of Cleveland; mother, Stephanie Sutton of St. Augustine, FL, one son, Nolan Roman; fiancé, Taylor Wickman; one sister, Ashalin Roman of Cleveland; four brothers, Chandler Roman, Nikolas Roman, Andres Rodas, and Santiago Roman, all of Cleveland; other survivors, Eufrocina Roman of Cleveland, C. E. Sutton, and Tammy Burley.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 6, at St. Thérèse of Lisieux Catholic Church with Father Mike Nolan and Father Antonio Giraldo presiding.  Interment will follow at Liberty Cemetery with full military honors.

The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 5, at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory.
