Mocs Host Drew Baldridge In Tailgate Concert Series

  • Tuesday, October 10, 2017
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Athletics Department announced Drew Baldridge as the next featured artist in the Mocs Block Tailgate Concert Series, powered by EPB Fiber Optics and presented by iHeart Media.

Baldridge is set to play the tailgate at The Citadel game on Oct. 21.  He brings a number of hit songs, including Rebound, Gun's & Roses and Dance With Ya.  He will take the stage at 12:30 p.m.

The Citadel game is the Mocs annual Military Appreciation Day.  All military, veterans and their immediate families receive free admission to the game.

The Mocs Block Tailgate is powered by EPB Fiber Optics and consists of a pregame party located on the east side of Finley Stadium (Chestnut Street/Scoreboard Side).

The Mocs Block is a partnership with UTC Athletics, Finley Stadium, Southside Social, iHeart Media and EPB that starts with the closing of Chestnut Street on game days.

The tailgate spots are occupied by various student groups, but the FREE pregame concerts and access to the local venues are open to all fans.

Those in attendance in their Mocs gear enjoy food and drink specials at the Southside Social.  EPB is providing complimentary wireless access for the entire area.

Festivities begin as early as student groups want to set up for their tailgate on the day of the game, and the concerts begin two hours prior to kickoff.  Spots are filled on a first come, first serve basis.
