In honor of breast cancer awareness month, the owners of Boyd’s Speedway made a  donation to the MaryEllen Locher Breast Center at CHI Memorial.

Earlier this month, Boyd’s Speedway hosted a silent auction featuring helmets, door panels, steering wheels and other car parts donated by drivers.  In addition to the money raised from fans during the silent auction, Boyd’s Speedway donated $1 for each person in attendance, and David and Kimberly Duplissey, owners of Boyd’s Speedway, made a donation to bring the total to $3,240.

The Duplisseys dedicated this event to Sheila Woodward, a fan and mother of one of the racers, who recently passed away from breast cancer.
