Nave, Herman (Chickamauga)

Herman Nave, 84 of Chickamauga, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017. He was a lifelong resident of Chickamauga and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Herman served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict and retired from Combustion Engineering after 36 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle, who will be greatly missed.

Herman was raised and preceded in death by Mommy and Poppy Nave.

He is survived by his loving wife, of 60 yrs., Sandra Nave; sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Lisa Nave, and Mark Nave; granddaughter, Heather (John) Millican; great grandchild, Noah Luke; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 6 in the Chickamauga City Cemetery, with Rev. Doug Jordan officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. on Thursday and prior to leaving for the service on Friday.
