  • Monday, October 9, 2017

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga has launched a refreshment cart focused on parents staying with their hospitalized children at Children’s Hospital at Erlanger.

Hospitality a la Carte is a volunteer-operated cart provided by Ronald McDonald House Charities that visits parents of hospitalized children twice daily offering refreshments, toiletries, magazines and puzzle books to help enhance their stay.

There will be a ribbon cutting at the launch on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Chattanooga Ronald McDonald House President and CEO Jane Kaylor and past RMHC family and Hospitality a la Carte donors Daniel and Tayler Orr.

The Hospitality a la Carte has been in “test” mode for the past two weeks receiving only positive responses.

The Carte requires a minimum of two volunteers to operate it twice daily.
