J.R. Lyons
J.R. “Skip” Lyons, 67, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 16, 2017.
A Chattanooga native, he graduated from Notre Dame High School and MTSU.
Skip was preceded in death by his parents, Becky and James Lyons.
Survivors include his daughter, Hilary (Josh) Jones, grandson, Jack Jones and brother, David (Irene) Lyons.
He was a member of The Gathering Chattanooga Church. There will be a gathering at the church in celebration of his life on Monday, Nov. 20, at 2 p.m. for family, friends, and church members. The address for the church is 4445 Hixson Pike, Chattanooga, Tn. 37343.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any contributions be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Dr., Chattanooga, Tn. 37416.
