Richards, Ruby Louise (Dalton)

Ruby Louise Richards, age 90, of Dalton, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 at Ridgewood Manor Nursing Home. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, T.J. Richards; a son, Jimmy Edward Richards; and brothers and sisters, Ernest Swinney, Gary Swinney, Charlie Swinney, Faye Swinney, and Lillian Rhymer. 

Ruby was of the baptist faith. 

Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Faye White of Dalton; sisters, Hazel Coker and Sybil Page, both of Dalton, and Pauline Ogle of Chatsworth; brothers, Bobby Joe Swinney and George Swinney, both of Dalton, and Earl Swinney of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Jill Daves and Kim Elder; great grandchildren, Avery Daves and Warren Carnes; nieces and nephews also survive.  

The funeral service will be held Monday, Dec. 18, at 1 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Willis officiating. 

Burial will be in Grove Level Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, Dec. 18, from noon until the service time at 1 p.m. You may leave the family a message or light a candle on the tribute wall at www.julianpeeples.com.
