David L. Morrison
David L. Morrison, age 68, of Dalton, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. Sr. and Rosie Lee Crider Morrison; one sister, Dianne Pearson; one brother, J.C. Morrison, Jr.; three brothers-in-law, Bobby Phillips, J.B. Harrell and Waymon Kile, Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Darlene Morrison of the residence; one son and daughter-in-law, Robbie and Kristy Morrison of Dalton; two sisters, Laura Kile and Stella Harrell, both of Dalton; three brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, David and Debbie Pearson, Danny and Judy Phillips and Ricky and Patsy Phillips; sister-in-law, Marty Phillips, all of Dalton; two precious grandchildren, Rezner and Wren Morrison; one aunt, Stella Crider; and numerous special nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be held Monday, Dec. 4, at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Crider officiating. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 6-9:30 p.m. and also Monday from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
