Ring In The New Year At Creative Discovery Museum During “2018 At 2:18”

The public is invited to ring in the new year with Father Time at Creative Discovery Museum’s annual New Year’s Eve celebration; the only local New Year’s Eve party specifically designed for children during daylight hours. With the holiday falling on Sunday this year, the Museum will ring in “2018 at 2:18 p.m.” on Sunday from noon-4 p.m.

Children and their caregivers attending the celebration will learn about the passage of time using traditional adult activities presented in a child-friendly manner.

Noon to 4:00 p.m.: ongoing New Year’s craft activities including hats, shakers, face paint and more
2:05 p.m.: Passage of Time Program Begins
2:18 p.m.: Countdown to 2018, Father Time descent, apple juice toast and confetti drop
3 p.m.: Dance party with Father Time, bubble wrap “fireworks” and balloon drop
