Virgie Ruth Taylor, 80, of Chickamauga, went to be with the Lord on Saturday. December 2, 2017. She was member of the Church of God faith.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Thomas and Lillian Richardson; husband, Cecil Paul Taylor, Sr.; two sisters; four brothers.
She is survived by her two children, John Paul Taylor and Mark (Ann) Taylor; two brothers, Julius Richardson and Frankie Richardson; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, Dec. 4 from 2-8 p.m. and on Tuesday, Dec. 5 up to the hour of service at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Warren Scott officiating. Interment will follow in the Lakewood Memory Garden South Cemetery.
