David Michael “Mike” North PLS, CFM, CFS, 57, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017. He was a life-long resident of Flintstone and Chattanooga area. He was a professional land surveyor and co-owner and president of Northpointe Surveying Inc. Mike was a proud member of several surveying associations including NSPS, TAPS, SAMSOG and ASPLS. He also served as a former Walker County School Board member.
He was preceded in death by his father, David McGregor North.
Survivors include his mother, Annette North; loving wife Tonya Howington; son, Deric North; grandchildren David North and Myleigh North.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.
