Edward Grayson
Edward Eugene Grayson, 78, of Ringgold, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017.
He was a lifelong resident of Ringgold and was of the Baptist Faith. Gene served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War before retiring from Combustion in 1989 after 30 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, who will be greatly missed.
Gene was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Marguerite Brown Grayson and brother, L.B. Grayson.
He is survived by his loving wife, of 41 years, Carol Grayson; daughters, Darlene Wright of Ringgold and Shannon (Scott) McNabb of Savannah; sisters, Wilda Havner and Alberta Brady; brother, Bill (Donna) Grayson; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 13, in Lakewood Memorial Gardens-East, with Brother Neal Brown officiating.
Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home-Wallis Stewart Chapel, Ringgold.
