I-Zone Director Sheryl Randolph Asks 1-Year Sabbatical For Doctoral Studies

  • Sunday, February 12, 2017

The current I-Zone Director, Sheryl Randolph, is asking that she be allowed to take a one-year sabbatical.

The request will go before the school board on Thursday.

Interim Supt. Kirk Kelly said, "Please be aware that approval would result in Ms. Randolph receiving 50 percent of her current salary during this leave while working through her doctoral studies.

"We would also need to back-fill her director position during this time."

There is currently a push to help boost the I-Zone schools to avoid take-over by the state.
