The Nancy Ward Chapter, National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, held its regular February meeting.  New member Sue Hatch was inducted by Chaplain Pauline Moore.

The speaker was Col. (Ret) Jimmy Williams.  Col. Williams was invited by his daughter, Second Vice Regent Rebecca Williams.  Hostess Christy Torok presented Col. Williams with a check for AmVets as a token of appreciation.  Chapter Regent Natalie Blackwell resided over the meeting.

The chapter made plans to volunteer for several upcoming events, including the Native American Pow Wow and the Welcome Home ceremonies in March.  Members also made donations to Operation Deploy Your Dress and to purchase books for the DAR Library in Washington, DC.
