Josephine Storey
Josephine "Josie" Elder Storey, 78, passed away on February 19, 2017.
She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Basilica.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wiley Storey; parents, James Elder and Christine Puckett; and brothers, James and William Elder.
Survivors include her children, Daphany (Alburtos) Horne of Woodbridge, VA; Brian (Phyllis) Storey, Wylene Storey and Danita Storey, all of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Nicole (Quentin) Numa, Carlos (Taneshia) Horne, both of Keller, TX.; Monica (Deandre, Jr.) Birton of Vacaville, CA; Lanisha (William) Simmons, Louis Hines and Leslie Storey, all of Chattanooga; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jacqueline Scaife of Huntsville, AL, Chessie Ann (Nathan) Burch and Charmayne Ramsey, both of Chattanooga; special friend, Laura Hill, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m on Friday, Feb. 24, at Saints Peter and Paul Basilica. Interment will be at 1:30 p.m. in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
