Ronald Turner
Ronald C. Turner, 75, of Chattanooga, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 27, 2017.
Mr. Turner was born and raised in Chattanooga and graduated from Central High School in 1960. He was a longtime dedicated member of Ridgedale Church of Christ where he served as a deacon, and he retired from Velsicol Chemical as a supervisor. Ronnie loved his family and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Wilmoth Turner.
Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Margaret McDearis Turner; children, Lisa Turner Birjkovff and Jeff Turner; grandson, Wesley Birjkovff; brothers, Tommy (Sherry) Turner and Johnny (Ursula) Turner; nephew, David Turner; and nieces, Kristy Rogers, Kara Turner and Amanda Westman.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, at Ridgedale Church of Christ, 1005 Dodds Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404.
Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. on Thursday at the church.
Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens South.
