Some Public Works Services Suspended For Potentially Inclement Weather

  • Wednesday, March 1, 2017

Due to incoming, potentially inclement weather, the City of Chattanooga’s Refuse Collection Centers and Recycle Convenience Centers closed at 11 a.m. on Wednesday.

They are scheduled to reopen on Thursday. All Public Works vehicles will also be off the roads until the weather clears. This includes garbage and recycle collection, yard waste and bulk pick up, and construction crews.

The City of Chattanooga’s Public Works crews will then work overtime to complete any missed routes.
