The Tivoli Theatre Foundation launched Friday its Friends of the Tivoli program, which will allow loyal supporters the opportunity to enjoy exclusive member-only events, ticket pre-sale opportunities, VIP parking, and more unique and innovative benefits, said officials.

"Our Friends of the Tivoli program offers the opportunity for members of the community to make tax-deductible contributions to the Foundation to benefit the Tivoli Theatre and Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium,” said Keith Sanford, chair of the Tivoli Theatre Foundation Board. “This new initiative ensures that future generations will have access to our world class venues that serve as a vital centerpiece of Chattanooga’s cultural and economic fabric.”

Friends of the Tivoli contributions will allow the Tivoli Theatre and Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium to continue providing theatrical and performing arts events, make improvements to facilities, underwrite http://tivolichattanooga.com/community partnerships, and ensure top-notch experiences at both venues.

“Countless Chattanoogans have experienced their first movie, concert, or Broadway show at the Tivoli or Memorial Auditorium,” said Nick Wilkinson, director of Development for the Tivoli Theatre Foundation. “These venues hold a special place in so many people's hearts, and our Friends program will ensure that these theatres and their programming remain world class, and at the same time provide innovative benefits that make supporting the venues a unique opportunity.”

Exclusive benefits include Friends only pre-sale opportunities, access to dining and parking at both the Walden and Mountain City clubs on show nights, and for Friends who join the 1921 Society, personal concierge service through the box office, ensuring they always have priority access to even the most popular shows.

Since the Tivoli Theatre Foundation formed, its theatres have experienced an increase in use and attendance. In 2017-2018, both venues expect to host a record number of Foundation promoted events, representing an increase of over 400 percent from before the Foundation took control in 2015.
