Starting Monday, through Friday, a portion of McBrien Road, from Ringgold Road to Weaver Street, will be closed each day between the hours of 8:30 a.m.
to 5 p.m. to all traffic. Detours around this area will be posted and the road should open up to traffic in the evenings after 5 p.m.
Tennessee American Water will be fixing lines during this time in preparation for the city’s resurfacing project of this portion of McBrien Road slated for early summer. Officials urge anyone who uses this section of McBrien Road to allow for extra delays during this time.
